Rule revisions effective January 1, 2025

Rule 5123-9-18 (HCBS waivers - non-medical transportation under the individual options, level one, and self-empowered life funding waivers) with Appendix A and Appendix B defines Non-Medical Transportation and sets forth provider qualifications, requirements for service delivery and documentation of services, and payment standards for the service. The rule is being amended primarily to:

• Add special per-trip payment rates for providers that transport one individual at a time to or from competitive integrated employment.
