On Sunday, August 22nd, 2010, the Metzenbaum Center will be holding its 2nd Annual bicycle fund raiser. The money will go to support a variety of programs, i.e. Recreation, Special Olympics, Family Support Services, etc. Last year your generous donations amounted to over $1,000.00 !
We are looking for your support. We need riders, volunteers, and donations. If anyone is interested in volunteering, contact Tami Setlock @ 729-9406 ext 1501, or e-mail at tsetlock@geaugadd.org. If you are interested in riding, register at www.signmeup.com/70217 The cost is $30.00 per rider or $75.00 per family. We hope that this can be a low-cost fund raiser to get the community involved and have fun. There will be a 15-mile and 30-mile bike route. Riders must be at least 10-years old and helmets are required.
If you or your employer is interested in making a donation of either cash or items to be put in the goodie bags, please contact us. Donors’ names will be printed on the t-shirts and donations valued over $200.00 will have their logo printed on our t-shirts too. Items like travel coffee mugs, pens, toothbrushes, post-it notes, and sample goods or coupons would be appreciated. Goodie bags will be given to the first 100 riders who register.
