Transportation

The Metzenbaum Center currently works with four private providers to offer transportation services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Geauga County. Gaining access to educational programs, employment opportunities and community integration activities is key to fostering a sense of wellbeing, independence and inclusion in the community. The dedicated transportation staffs provide safe, reliable and accessible transportation to children under the age of three through our Early Intervention program, as well as more than 150 adults attending day habilitation programs, worksites and social and athletic functions.

Additionally, the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities shares its transportation facility with West Geauga Local Schools to create synergy and savings for the taxpayers in Geauga County.
