Recreation/Leisure

With in the Recreation Leisure Program we offer off ground activities, in house activities and overnight vacations for the adults ages 22 and up.   The individuals are from the Adult Services program, and individuals that are referred to us by Community Support Services. 

Special Olympics 
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for all children and adults with disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.

Transportation

We provide Transportation Services to individuals with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities who reside in Geauga County.  Gaining access to educational programs, employment opportunities, and social functions is key to fostering a sense of well-being, independence and inclusion in the community... 

Families & Friends

Families and Friends of Metzenbaum Center is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization comprised of family members, professionals, and interested persons wishing to serve on behalf of individuals who have MR/DD conditions in Geauga County.
